This course is beneficial for U.S. Army/DoD professionals interested in more effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders about any issues related to health risk.
Description

This on-site course provides an understanding of the concepts, principles, and process of effective risk communication. Participants learn to strategically plan for effectively addressing public and/or worker concerns that affect mission success. The research-based risk communication principles presented are effective in planning for and addressing concerns related to health, environmental, deployment, and occupational health issues.

Prerequisites

Supervisor approval required. 

Remarks

Students must be available to attend the entire course in order to effectively participate in individual and small group interactive exercises.
